Quick answer

Attack from your mount and use its special when ready. Move out of the red ground circles, then resume attacking. Crocodile and Eagle have both completed the fight; after winning, approach the Shells you want, press E and return with BACK to stash them.

Reach the Stage 10 Arena

Progress through the stages to reach Volcano Tiki Chief's arena at Stage 10. The boss has 9.92 million maximum HP, so expect a sustained fight rather than a quick exchange.

Clearing Stage 10 also unlocks Pirate as a destination in the Teleport menu. See the stage requirements and world unlocks for other progression conditions.

Attack While Moving Out of Red Circles

  1. Enter the arena on your mount and click to attack the Chief.
  2. Watch the ground for red circles. Move your mount outside the marked areas when they appear.
  3. Continue attacking after you have moved clear, and use your special when it is ready.
  4. If your mount's HP gets low, pull away to create space instead of staying in place and absorbing attacks.

Keep repeating the attack-and-move cycle until the boss is defeated. For more on mounted attacks and survival, see combat controls and tips.

Use Your Mount's Special When It Is Ready

  • Crocodile: Click for Jaw Snap and press Q for Swamp Whirlpool when it is available. Swamp Whirlpool can slow and stun, making Crocodile useful when you want help creating room to move. Crocodile has completed this fight.
  • Eagle: Use Sky Dive during the fight. Eagle has also defeated the Chief, so it is another option if you already ride one.
  • Fire Dragon: Click for Flame Bite and press Q for Inferno Breath when ready. Inferno Breath applies burn, giving you another way to attack while managing the ground warnings.

Your mount's configuration affects its combat performance. If you need another option, compare abilities in the pet directory.

Choose Shells and Stash the Loot

After the fight, approach a Shell you want and press E when the collect prompt appears. Titan Shell can be collected after a victory and can also be used at the Egg Forge.

When bag space is tight, choose for your goal: compare the available Shells' values if you plan to sell, or leave room for materials you want to forge. Titan Shell was chosen for its higher selling value among the drops available in one fight. Amethyst Shell has also been collected after a Crocodile victory.

When your bag is full, use BACK at the top of the screen to return and stash your carried Shells. The Shell collection guide covers storage and bag upgrades.
